The fine print, in plain words.
What counts as a text?
Every text we send for you counts as one: confirmations, reminders, on-my-way and arrival texts, replies. A text is 160 characters; a longer one counts as two or more. Ours are written to fit in one.
What happens when I use them up?
You get a heads-up at 80%. Past your allowance, texts keep going at 2¢ each up to a monthly cap you set, or you can switch overage off and we email instead. Or add 1,000 texts for $15 whenever you need them.
When can I start?
Request early access. We're onboarding in small batches right now and we'll reach out personally to find you a spot.
What does early access include?
The whole app, set up personally, with a starter text allowance while we roll out. We go over the details with you when we reach out.
What do card payments cost?
Card payments run through your own Stripe account at Stripe's standard rates: 2.7% + 5¢ in person on the reader, 2.9% + 30¢ for card on file and pay links. DrifterIQ adds nothing. Cash, Zelle and other payments cost nothing.
Do I need my own phone number?
We register one for your business at setup, included in every plan. Until it is approved, usually a few business days, your texts go out from a DrifterIQ number.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Plans are month to month with no contract. Cancel anytime from Settings and you keep access to the end of the month you paid for.
What about shops with more than one provider?
Team and Fleet plans are coming soon. Join the waitlist above and we will email you the day they open.
Is there an annual plan?
Not yet. Monthly only for now.
